Connecting and Pairing your Meta Quest™ Headset
Note: If you’re
prompted to download the Meta app when you put on your headset, please refer
to the directions in Connecting and Pairing your headset with the Meta Mobile
app.
When you're ready to start using your Meta Quest headset for the first time:
Plug the charging cable into your Meta Quest headset and a power
source to begin charging it. The charging indicator will turn green once
it's fully charged.
Once your headset has been charged, put on your headset and follow
the instructions in VR.
For the best experience, wait until your Meta Quest headset is
fully charged before using it.
Troubleshooting
If you're
having trouble completing the setup process, there are a few things you can
check.
Wi-Fi
· Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong. If you have a weak signal, try moving to another location.
· Quest must be set up on a secure, password-protected network. Unsecured networks can't be used for the setup process.
Meta Service Status
· Make sure that Meta services are up and running as expected. You can do that by checking the service status page. (https://metastatus.com/)
Login credentials
· Double-check to make sure that your username and password have been entered correctly. You can also try logging out, waiting a few minutes, and then logging back in
Wi-Fi
· Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong. If you have a weak signal, try moving to another location.

· Make sure that Meta services are up and running as expected. You can do that by checking the service status page. (https://metastatus.com/)

If you still cannot complete the in-VR
setup process, you can download the Meta mobile app on a
compatible Smartphone and complete your setup from there.
