How do I use Ultra360?

Ultra360° is a new 360° rendering option to present your designs. To use the Ultra360 render, follow the steps below:

1. Position the camera view in the middle of your design. (If you have an open plan kitchen, we feel its best to position the camera in the middle of the kitchen.)
Info
The point you place the camera in will become the pivotal axis the view rotates around (imagine this is where the person is standing).

2. Select the '3D options' menu within the render drop down arrow.

3. Select 'Ultra360' and specify your “Resolution” and “Quality”.
Notes
(Please note, the higher the resolution you set the clearer the image will be.)
Resolution standards:
1000 - low quality
2000 - medium quality
3000-4000 - best quality
4. Once you have selected your settings, press 'OK' and ArtiCAD will produce your 360° image in UltraHD quality.

There will be 3 new buttons and a slider option on the bottom of your screen.

  1. 'Auto Orbit' will begin an infinite rotation around the room
  2. 'Change Direction' will change the direction of your Orbit
  3. 'Gyroscope' will stop the rotation of image and allow you to move the screen at your own pace.
  4. The slide bar on the right hand side is a tool used to zoom in or out of the image on your screen. You can also use the scroller wheel of your mouse to do this.

Info
Please note, if you would like HDRIs to appear in your Ultra360 renders, these will have to be set up in an UltraHD render. Any settings you apply in an UltraHD render will transfer to the Ultra360.
