Useful commands for efficient designing

Below are a list of useful commands that are commonly used when designing in ArtiCAD-Pro making the design process easier and more efficient. These commands work across all three room-systems.

Ctrl+C to copy a selection of units in drag and drop
Ctrl+V to paste a selection of units in drag and drop
Ctrl+X to cut a selection of units in drag and drop
Ctrl+W to run a wizard
Ctrl+Z to undo
Shift+Ctrl+Z to redo
Delete to delete
F1 to edit an item
F3 for measurement cursor
F9 to duplicate a single item
Alt or  Ctrl to disable snapping for selected unit
Shift+hold down left click on mouse then move the mouse up or down to rotate that selected unit
Up and Down Arrow Key to change the layer you are in (wall, base units or wall units)
Click into the Commands box and use Left or Right Arrow Keys to flick through the units in that selected layer
Ctrl+Left Arrow Key then Input a Measurement to nudge the selected unit to the left
Ctrl+Right Arrow Key then Input a Measurement to nudge the selected unit to the right

F2 to enter VR view (great for setting you camera view as well as final edits to units and materials)
Right arrow to move right in VR mode
Left arrow to move left in VR mode
Up arrow to move forward in VR mode
Down arrow to move backwards in VR mode
Hold left click and move mouse to spin around
W and S to change camera height of ground
Left Click on a unit+F1 to bring up the unit properties and alter the unit
Right click on an element+press the letter M to change the material of that selected element (this does not work for attachments, these need to be changed through the global materials editor)
