How do I transfer my CAD from one machine to another, including all content?

The easiest way to transfer your CAD system from one machine to another is to copy across the entire folder from your PC onto a USB or external hard-drive. The folder may be quite large, so it's best to make sure that your device has enough storage.

1. Open the location your system is stored in (this is usually the C:Drive)

2. Right click the folder and select 'Copy'

3. Open the external hard-drive/USB and paste the folder here

4. Once the folder has finished copying onto the drive, remove it from the current PC and plug it into the new PC

5. Open the drive on the new PC

6. Right click the folder and select 'Copy'

7. Open the location on your system where you want to store ArtiCAD (this will most likely be the C:Drive)

8. Paste the folder here

This will not transfer across your favourites as they are stored in a different location. Please refer to Transferring favourites from one machine to another for guidance on this.
