Tiling Area Tool

In ArtiCAD we can select a wall and split it into different sections, for different level tiling on one wall.

1. Firstly select the wall you’d like to edit.

2. Click on 'Utilities' and select 'Tools' from the drop down.

3. Select 'Useful Wizards' from the menu.

4. In this window, select 'Tiling area tool' and click 'OK'.

You will then be presented with three individual sections which you can edit the dimensions of. It will create 3 sections of tiled panels at various heights & widths.

You can specify the height and width of the panels individually by selecting the options under the headings:

- Tile From and Tile To
- Specify a dimension in mm at the bottom in the 'height' box

The final tiling area automatically calculates its width to the remaining selected wall length.

Once the dimensions have been specified for each individual panel you can click 'OK'.

To change the colour or textures used on these panels go to the colours and the option 'walltile' should appear in the list.

Each panel can be edited individually by selecting the walls one by one and clicking on 'materials’.
