Saving a Page Layout (Including PDF)

Saving a Page Layout (Including PDF)

Once you have completed your page layout, select 'Save Layout' from the Page Layout tool bar.

By default, your page layout is saved as a .lay (layout file). Only ArtiCAD can read this type of file. However, you can return to a Layout file and move items around, edit text etc.

If you want to email your Page Layout to a Client, it is recommended to save your Layout as a JPEG or PDF. To save it as a JPEG, change the 'Save as type' to JPEG Image (*.jpg)

To save your Page Layout as a PDF, click the â€˜Print Layout’ button and select 'Microsoft Print to PDF' as the printer.
