Running ArtiCAD on Windows 7™

Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 7 in January 2015.


We recommend that you upgrade your Microsoft operating system to the latest version, Windows 10. If you are still using Windows 7 and have encountered difficulties when trying to launch your ArtiCAD software, please follow the steps below:

1. Open or go to your desktop.

2. Right click on your ArtiCAD shortcut icon and select 'Properties' from the menu.

3. Select the 'Compatibility' tab.

4. Under compatibility mode, select the tickbox 'run this in compatibility mode for' and select 'Windows 7' from the dropdown menu.

5. Select 'Apply' and 'OK'.

Your ArtiCAD system should now open.
