New elevation symbol options

When adding symbols into Elevations in ArtiCAD, you will now have extra style options for the Symbols you import into the drawing.

To add a symbol into an elevation, right-click the elevation and press the 'Add Symbol' button.


The symbol window will open and you will be able to choose one of the symbols to add to your elevation from the list. You can also use the 'Import Symbol' option to add in any symbols of your own

Please note that the file type will need to be .svg


There are 3 new options for symbols:     
  1. Width and Height – if you wish to set these to differing values, please un-tick “Lock Aspect Ratio”. Un-ticking this option will allow you to change the width and height without the item keeping scale.
  2. Override Colour – This option will allow you to override the Standard red colour that is applied on the symbol and give you the ability to change the colour.
  3. Line Thickness Scale – This option will allow you to make the lines that make up the shape of the symbol thicker or thinner.
