‘Save As’ will save current selections for materials on their respective components as a colour scheme that you can load back in to a new design to save you time in future.

After clicking ‘Save As’, it will open a file browser. From there, you are free to name the file whatever you like in order to make it memorable for future use.

‘Save As Defaults’ will Save current selections for materials on their respective components as your standard selection for materials, which will load up automatically upon opening a new design.

‘Load’ will open up a file browser, from there you can select a previously saved file for materials selections.

You can either choose to load in your default selection or another colour scheme you had saved manually by clicking on ‘Save As’

‘Export’ allows you bundle up a library, this will then export the materials file structure along with all relevant textures. This can then be imported into ArtiCAD on another machine.

Designed for sharing libraries from one machine to another (like sharing materials with colleagues)

‘Import’ is for loading in a library exported from another machine.

‘Finish Variant’ is a drop down menu for selecting a predefined finish. You can override the standard finish on a material using this dropdown menu.

‘Customise’ allows you to adapt a material, you can make changes to an existing material. This will make a duplicate material and add it into your custom library.

‘Collapse All’ closes down all categories in the right hand column to enable you to see all content with more ease.
