How do I import my own colours? (Paint colours, etc)

Pipette is a simple tool used to collect the RBG/HEX values of specific colours. You can use the Pipette tool to sample PTO colours and use the codes to import the exact colours into your ArtiCAD designs.

You can download Pipette here - https://www.sttmedia.com/download=PipetteWin

Please note that Pipette is an external tool and is not developed by ArtiCAD

Download and open this file to run the Pipette tool. You may need to extract the file to run the tool, to do this, head to Downloads > Right click on the Pipette download > Extract all > Extract > Open the new file and run 'Pipette'. See below:

1. Start by opening Pipette from your desktop.

2. Once opened, visit your favourite paint manufacturers website.

3. Run & load the pipette tool

4. Click on the Pipette button and drag your mouse over the colour you want to pick up - whilst holding down your left click. This will give you the 9 digit RGB Value which can be entered into this section.

5. In ArtiCAD, go into your materials menu (as if you were adding a custom image), go to Custom Library > New (at the bottom) and choose 'Set Colour'. Here you can type in the RGB values (as displayed in the image above) from Pipette.
