2. Click on the download link for blender-3.0.0-windows-x64.zip.
3. Once downloaded, locate the folder and unzip it. This can be done by right clicking on the folder and selecting Extract all... Save the Blender™ folder anywhere on your hard drive by keep a note of where you have saved this, as you will need to know the exact location when configuring the Blender™ Render in ArtiCAD.
4. To launch Blender™, go in to the extracted folder and double click on Blender.exe.
5. You can make a shortcut for your desktop by right clicking on Blender.exe and selecting create shortcut. Copy the shortcut and paste this onto your desktop.
Activating CPU and GPU to make renders even faster when using Blender™*:
1. Open Blender™ and go to Edit at the top of the programme and select Preferences.
2. Click on the Systems tab and select CUDA along the top.
3. Tick everything that is available in the list below (this will be your machine's graphics card and processor). This will allow your machine to use both GPU and CPU when rendering in Blender™.
*Please note that this will only work if you have a dedicated graphics card.
